E-mail Account

• Students will be assigned a UTORid when they obtain their TCard. Students should activate their UTORid and create their own UTmail+ address. UTmail+ also offers a web-based e-mail service: http://my.utoronto.ca/
• Alternatively, M.A.Sc. and Ph.D. students may obtain an e-mail address through ECE. Students should ask their supervisor to authorize and establish an ECE account, if such an account is required for research.
• Students must forward their new e-mail address (whether issued through UTmail+ or ECE) to the ECE Graduate Office. The ECE Graduate Office will ensure that students’ e-mail addresses are included in the appropriate e-mail groups used for the distribution of important notices.
