The academic year is comprised of three sessions: Fall, Winter, and Summer.
- The Fall session starts after Labour Day and runs from September through December
- The University will be closed for a Winter Break from Thu. Dec. 21, 2023 to Tue. Jan. 2, 2024
- The University will be closed for a Winter Break from Thu. Dec. 21, 2023 to Tue. Jan. 2, 2024
- The Winter session starts after the Winter Break and runs from January through April
- The Summer session runs from May through August
In addition to the Winter Break, the University closes for 7 or more holidays each academic year.
There will be no classes in Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering graduate courses during the reading week in each of the Fall & Winter sessions.
