The Keysight Electronics Laboratory is a state-of-the-art teaching facility established through collaboration between the University of Toronto ECE department and Keysight Technologies. Designed to support advanced undergraduate education and project-based learning, the lab features twelve fully equipped stations with industry-standard, high-precision instrumentation.

The facility supports hands-on learning in analog, digital, and mixed-signal systems, while also creating opportunities for collaboration among undergraduate students, graduate researchers, and industry partners. As one of the first facilities of its kind within the department, the lab represents a major step forward in modernizing the ECE student learning experience.

Lab access


The room is open only at specific times during the day for scheduled courses when TAs are present. This lab is not open after hours or on weekends.

Remote access: There is no remote-access option for this lab.

Computer accounts


You must coordinate with the lab manager to gain access to the computers in this lab.

Lab regulations


All individuals must adhere to the lab regulations and safety procedures outlined in the ECE Safety & Operational Training. Note that food and beverages are strictly prohibited within the lab premises.
