Electronics Communications Lab

Location: Sandford Fleming, room 2201


These two labs are located in the same venue, and support a variety of third- and fourth-year courses. The Communications Lab provides support to courses such as introduction to communication systems, digital communications, wireless communications and digital signal processing (DSP). The lab is equipped with current DSP platforms, digital oscilloscopes and arbitrary signal generators, as well as software-defined radio platforms. The Electronics area supports the advanced courses in circuits design, and is equipped with a more complete work bench encompassing a digital oscilloscope, two power supplies, two digital multimeters, and two digital signal generators. Students are provided with the electronic components needed for their coursework.
