Fall Convocation 2019: Three graduating students share their one-minute thesis

November 7, 2019

Tyler Irving & Roberta Baker

This morning, Maryam Fallah (ECE PhD 1T9) is among the students celebrating the end of one journey and the beginning of another. At Fall Convocation, a majority of the graduating class are Master’s and PhD students who have dedicated many years of their grad studies developing solutions to some of the world’s biggest and most complex challenges.

Before they stepped onto the Convocation Hall stage to receive their degrees, U of T Engineering News’ Tyler Irving and Roberta Baker challenged three of our graduate students to explain their research in one minute or less.

Maryam Fallah (ECE PhD 1T9)

Locke Davenport Huyer (ChemE, IBBME PhD 1T9)

Tij Gupta (MIE MASc 1T9)
