Part 3: Career Accelerator Tracks
6:30–7:30 p.m. | Dual-track experience
30 minutes per track, then switch
- Track 1: Hiring Insights and Résumé AMA: Unlock insights that help you stand out to recruiters. Start with a workshop on what recruiters look for in résumés and candidates, including tips to craft a standout application. Then join a live résumé AMA — ask your questions and get expert answers in real time.
- Track 2: Career Micro Chats: Join seven-minute group chats with RBC experts from AI/ML, cybersecurity, cloud, data, capital markets and DevOps teams. Discuss career insights in small, collaborative groups guided by prompt cards, and rotate tables to meet new mentors in a low-pressure setting.

About the speaker:
Martin Wildberger is the Executive Vice President (EVP) of Innovation and Technology (I&T) within the Technology and Operations (T&O) Group at RBC, where he drives the bank’s enterprise technology and innovation strategy. His leadership focuses on leveraging data, AI, cloud, and modern platforms to deliver exceptional client experiences globally.
Martin leads RBC Borealis, the Borealis AI research lab, DevOps, enterprise architecture, technology strategy, innovation, and third-party solutions, while also overseeing end-to-end technology solutions for key business lines, including investor services, insurance, and wealth management (Europe and Asia). Under his leadership, RBC has achieved global recognition as a leader in AI maturity, ranking #1 in Canada and #3 worldwide for four consecutive years.
Before joining RBC in 2014, Martin had a distinguished career at IBM where his last role was Global Vice President of Information Management Development. He was responsible for defining the business and technical strategy of IBM’s data management business including operational responsibility for 14 development labs. His prior roles included Director of the IBM Canada Laboratory, Vice President IBM Sensor Solutions, and Vice President WebSphere Commerce.
Martin holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
