Curriculum Streams - what can I study in ECE?

Electrical and computer engineering is a broad field encompassing many areas of study.  As an undergraduate degree, it offers the widest range of career possibilities.  ECE sits at the core of most technical advances made today as its fields include IT and energy.  ECE is truly the engine that powers the technology of the 21st century.

As a student in ECE at U of T, you can choose your own path of study.  The first two years of study will cover the foundation required for the choices you can make in your third and fourth years.  To help guide students through the wide array of fields Curriculum Streams have been created.  They are listed below and you can click on them to learn more.  ECE students can choose a stream or they can create their own areas of study from the many courses offered.
