Financial Aid/Scholarships

Financial Aid

There are student loans available from the Government of Ontario (OSAP) as well as bursaries from the Faculty.  For information about OSAP loans, please visit: http://osap.gov.on.ca/. To learn about financial aid from the University and Faculty, please go to:  http://www.adm.utoronto.ca/.

Scholarships

Scholarships are based on academic achievement and extra curricular activities. Applicants are automatically considered for scholarships so there is no need to apply for them.  Extra curricular activities are listed by applicants on their student profile forms, which are mailed out in January.

The amount given in admission scholarships varies from year to year; they are one-time-only awards.

There are scholarships available for upper-year students as well.  Some are automatically granted and others must be applied for.  To learn more about these scholarships, please visit the ECE Undergraduate Office in room 600 of the Sandford Fleming Building, basement level.
