Important Dates

The academic year is comprised of three sessions: Fall, Winter, and Summer. The Fall session runs from September through December; the Winter session from January through April; and the Summer session from May through August. The University closes for approximately two weeks, between the Fall and Winter sessions, for the Holiday Season. ECE does not offer any graduate courses during the Summer session, nor is JDE1000H "Ethics in Research" offered during the Summer session. Please consult registration, course enrolment and course timetables, as well as SGS sessional dates, for important dates, deadlines, and scheduling information.

• 2011 Fall Session start: Thursday, September 8, 2011
• Holiday Season closure: December 21, 2011 to January 1, 2012, inclusive
• 2012 Winter Session start: Monday, January 9, 2012
